This one is a beautiful example, with the craftsmanship, tone, and especially the comfortable playability these Japanese-made guitars are known for. It has been thoroughly cleaned, inspected, restrung with fresh strings, and set up by Sovereign Tone Works. It is ready to play and enjoy. It has an exceptionally comfortable, easy-playing feel for a dreadnought, and the guitar responds beautifully to both chords and individual notes. It has been set up for comfortable playability and sounds full, clear, and lively. Condition For a guitar built in 1982, it presents beautifully and shows honest cosmetic wear consistent with its age. There is one small superficial crack on the top, limited to the surface layer and not extending through the wood. It is stable, does not affect the structural integrity of the guitar, and has no noticeable impact on its tone or playability. Clear close-up photographs are included. There is also a small cosmetic blemish on the front of the guitar, just below and to the side of the sound hole. It is shown clearly in the photos. I prefer to disclose every detail clearly so there are no surprises for the buyer. A Nice Piece of Its History The original 1982 SLM Guitar Shop setup/adjustment sticker is still inside the guitar. It is a cool piece of the instrument’s documented history that has stayed with it for more than four decades.
